More than just prenatal yoga

Pregnant? Ready for a full body workout that is safe for ALL trimesters of pregnancy? Let's do this!
Haven't heard of it yet? Here are the basics:
"FIT4BABY is a workout program designed specifically for moms-to-be. It includes cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility and core exercises to accommodate all trimesters of pregnancy. This 6-week program includes community-based workouts, weekly educational themes, a private group and a weekly journal to document your pregnancy journey. FIT4BABY will build your mental and physical endurance, strengthen your body and prepare you for pregnancy, birth and beyond."
So why FIT4BABY versus a traditional prenatal yoga?
Well, here's the thing, you can (and should) do both! We love to partner with Yoga studios in the area. Prenatal yoga and prenatal fitness are great compliments to each other at any point in your pregnancy!
In your first trimester, it's nice to be surrounded by other mamas-to-be who also live in the Bryan College Station area. If this is your first, having a mom-group early on is a gift! They can help share what they have on their baby registry. Who they have as a doula (or what a doula is!).
In your second trimester, you're gonna have so much energy and want to get your cardio and strength ON! And we can help you because our instructors are prenatal and postpartum certified to let you know what is safe (and most importantly NOT safe).
In your third trimester, you're in the home stretch and boy do you need some accountability. You KNOW movement is healthy for you and your growing baby, but without some accountability, you may want to just stay in bed a little longer instead of working out. But with group fitness comes the nudge and push. And the socialization. And the opportunity to share your concerns and questions.
